Out of Darkness

You're playing as Annya, a fierce warrior equipped with a laser whip in a modern cityscape. She spawns right outside the downtown area of her hometown. Your mission: conquer the darkness that plagues her mind and soul or let it consume you.

Enemies consist of 3 different kinds of Krakens, varying by endurance and attack strength. The strongest one will be obvious once you find it. Each Kraken represents Annya's fears. 

Controls

• PC
  • WASD: movement
  • Space Bar: Jump
  • Shift: Dash
  • Mouse: camera
  • Left Mouse Click: primary attack
  • Right Mouse Click: strong attack
• GamePad (Tested with Xbox Elite Series 2 Gamepad):
  • LS: movement
  • RS: camera
  • R1 or X: primary attack
  • RT or Y: strong attack
  • A: Jump
  • B: Dash

Exiting Game: Alt + F4

Important Gameplay Notes:

• Primary attack: repeated presses build up her combo attacks. Damage is the same
• Secondary attack: Lightning bolt image below health bar indicates when it's ready
• Jump, run or dash away from enemies, as being near them causes damage to Annya
• Annya dashes towards the direction she's facing
• Defeating enemies restores full health
• Strategize which enemies to defeat first
• Kraken colors represent their strength
• Krakens can see you. Hide behind vehicles or buildings to prevent them from seeing you
• Krakens are always stationary. They don't move from their spawn location
